Glossy Accents

I just had to use the hamburger from the Simply Charmed cartridge because it reminded me of my sister. She just loves hamburgers!

I used Glossy accents by Ranger on the tomatoes to add gloss.

Materials Used:

Cartridge: Simply Charmed (hamburger cut at 2 ¾)

Paper: Jung-a-low, Bung-a-low BABY by the Paper Studio

Ink: Worn Lipstick Tim Holtz Distress Ink by Ranger

Stamps: Critter Faces by Peachy Keen Stamps (size Large)

I created this teacher gift for my best friend who just started her first teaching job a few days ago. She is a PreK teacher :) My dream job! I saw this design a few years back on a Christmas ornament and I just had to make something that resembled it.

I used Glossy Accents by Ranger on the pencil's eraser.

Tutorial

I first started off by cutting a sheet of red paper to 9 1/2 by 6 inches. I also cut out a piece of chipboard and glued it to the pack of the paper.

I then cut out a sheet of black paper (8 1/2 by 5 inches) and used my corner punch on the red paper.

I used my Crop-A-Dile II to punch the holes.

I also added chipboard on the cut outs. I then used Mod Podge.

Materials Used

Cartridges: Locker Talk (crayon and globe were cut at 2 3/4 inches, and pencil at 1 1/2 inches.)

                     Doodlecharms (apple was cut at 3 inches)

                     Nursery Rhymes (font used for her last name was cut at 1 1/4 inches)

                     Hello Kitty Font (font used to cut teacher was cut at 2 1/2 inches)

I created this card using the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge. I just love Hello Kitty and I was never a fan of real cats until I got one of my own.

Unfortunately, I only had my kitty for about 6 months because I moved back home with my parents and my mom is not a fan of cats. I found her a great home to live at.

She was best friends with my chihuahua.

Whoever said that cats and dogs can't be friends?

Pretty much all my babies ever did was sleep :)

 A friend of mine did catch me and them sleeping together one time when I came home tired from working in the Preschool. I didn't even know that the picture was taken until one day I was looking through the pictures in my cell and found it. I love this picture, but I miss my kitty :( You can tell how tired I was because I didn't make it to my pillow.

Project Sunshine and Smiles: Disguise

This is the last card I made for Project Sunshine and Smiles yesterday. I wish that I had more time to make a lot more, but I just started school last week and I was busy with homework/family this weekend. Next Monday I start my 1^st day of Student Teaching! I can’t wait to meet all of the 3^rd graders who I am going to be teaching for 2 months!

This bird just made me smile :)
