I woke up a little bit late today, so I missed out on the first challenge. I wish that I could participate in all of the challenges today, but I have to go to Lakeshore and laminate a lot of things for my classroom and buy a few more things.

I am super excited because I can start fixing up my classroom on Friday!

Baby Boy

Two of my friends are pregnant and they just found out that they are having a boy. I made a card for both of them using my Imagine because I just got Baby Boutique and I couldn't wait to use it.
I added dimensions to make it pop.

I used  the CCR to design the card.

Happy Birthday

I created this Easel Card for one of my sorority sisters. She loves Hello Kitty and so do I! I just love both of the Hello Kitty Cartridges!!!
This is the first time that I have created an Easel Card and it's super easy! This is the fastest way to create a fun unique card. I watched this video to learn how to make one.

Materials Used
Cartridges: Hello Kitty Greetings (Hello Kitty cut at 3 1/4 inches)
Tags, Bags, Boxes & More (tag cut at 3/4 inches)

Stamp: Birthday, Birthday by Pink by Design

Paper: Safari Untamed by my Paper Studio

I also wanted to share this picture that I took on Thursday (my last day of student teaching) in my 3rd grade class. The students covered the table with cards and gifts and surprised me when I came into the classroom with my lunch. I didn't want to cry, but I couldn't hold back the tears when I saw one of my little boys crying. I am going to miss my little ones.

Survivor

This is my last week of student teaching in my 3rd grade classroom. My students already know that I am leaving them, so yesterday I was being hugged 24/7 and was being told not to leave. I am going to miss my kids, but I am going to do my best to visit them often.

I start student teaching in a 5th grade class on October 13th, so wish me luck! I am a little nervous because I am used to teaching younger kids.

When I first met my mentor, she told me that she is a Breast Cancer Survivor, so I couldn't wait for it to be October and make her a card.
Materials Used
Cartridges: Pink Journey (wings cut at 2 inches and ribbon cut at 3 inches)
Tags, Bags, Boxes & More (tag cut at 1/2 inches)

Graduation Cards

In 7 months I will be a college graduate, so that means student teaching in August! I had so much fun attending graduations and making cards for my friends and sisters who just graduated.
I made this card for my line sister. Her family pattern is zebra print, so I used the school colors on top and our sorority colors on the bottom.
I used the Hello Kitty Font cartridge for the numbers and the cap is from the Wrap It Up cartridge.

This a picture of my me with my line sisters and the graduates.

The cap is the same one I used from Wrap It Up and the numbers are from Birthday Bash.
