Cards

Tomorrow I will be visiting the class I was in during my one month student teaching and the students are graduating from Kindergarten. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to stay for their graduation because I start summer classes in Huntsville, so I am just going to stop by and say hi.

I made my mentor teacher some simple cards that she can give away to other teachers because the teachers in that school like to leave each other little notes of encouragement, thank you, get well soon, etc.

I used stamps from My Pink Stamper and the cartridges I used are Simply Charmed, Create a Critter and Paisley. I also used pop dots to pop up each animal/cupcake.

I used the Simply Charmed cartridge for these 2 cards:

MAY MONTHLY CHALLENGE: Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

I love the May challenge from the Cricut Circle Blog because I like the idea of using a row from the Tic Tac Toe challenge. I also love the PRIZE! They are giving 5 winners an E2!!! I created a side step card using the 2nd row in my project.
I used the French Manor cartridge for the peacock and the tower and the Rock Princess cartridge for the crown.

Peachy Keen Stamps Sketch Challenge #52

I made a thank you card for my mentor teacher and I looked for a cute sketch to get inspired by, so I used the sketch from Peachy Keen Stamps blog.
Sketch Challenge
  • Create a card based on the layout provided (Peachy Keen Stamps are not required for this challenge, but if you got 'em, flaunt 'em!)
  • Project must include basic elements from provided sketch
I used my other favorite cartridge, Hello Kitty Greetings
since my mentor teacher and I both love Hello Kitty!

Throwback Thursday Challenge

I have missed doing challenges, so I enjoyed doing two challenges yesterday.
This challenge is from My creaTive Time and I was to:
Use ANY "OLDER" cartridge of YOUR choice & PLEASE incorporate the color GREEN & YELLOW somewhere on any project of your choice!
I  made a banner for my mentor teacher and I used one of my favorite cartridges, Hello Kitty Font.

Graduation Cards

In 7 months I will be a college graduate, so that means student teaching in August! I had so much fun attending graduations and making cards for my friends and sisters who just graduated.
I made this card for my line sister. Her family pattern is zebra print, so I used the school colors on top and our sorority colors on the bottom.
I used the Hello Kitty Font cartridge for the numbers and the cap is from the Wrap It Up cartridge.

This a picture of my me with my line sisters and the graduates.

The cap is the same one I used from Wrap It Up and the numbers are from Birthday Bash.
