Bunny Hop

If you just came from Erica's blog, I am your next stop. Today is the day for this wonderful Bunny Hop for Operation Write Home. I have created a peek-a-boo card and I learned how to do one by watching this video. This is one of the easiest cards I have ever made and I had so much fun making it. I hope you enjoy!
I used the Create a Critter cartridge for the bunny & carrot and My Community cartridge for the basket. The sentiment is from the stamp line, My Pink Stamper.

We were asked to make a spring card and here is mine :)
Continue Hopping over to Sherrie who used some lovely stamps on her cards or you can go back to the beginning of the hop Stars and Stamps.

1st Blog Hop

I am so excited because I will be participating in my very first Blog Hop! It’s called the Bunny Hop and it’s for the program Operation Write Home. The blog starts on Saturday, March 5th at 7 a.m. PST.
Anyone can participate in the Operation Write Home program. All you have to do is create handmade greeting cards and those cards are sent out to the soldiers to write on and they send them back to their family. I love the idea of them being able to have access to handmade cards, it makes writing to their family a lot easier. If you would like more information about the program, check out their website.

Hope you come and visit my blog on Saturday!

Yay for March!

I am so glad that February is over with! I had so many projects due that month and I barely caught up with all my sleep. Today I started my first day in a Kindergarten class. I am going to be in that class for a whole month and I have to teach a few lessons. I am really excited because I love my class and I can’t wait to learn from them.
This week I helped my friend make 90+ post cards for her students that she had during her student teaching. She asked her students which animal was their favorite and these kids all loved a different animal, so good thing I had most of the cartridges that have animals. It took a long time, but she said that kids loved them, so it was worth it. I forgot to take pictures :(
Check out the awesome gift my circle pal gave me. I have been wanting the sew easy since when it first came out. I can’t wait to use it!
